2018 Science Fair

Today is a great day for mankind... I just finished my science fair!!! It took me 2 and a half months of sweat and labour (There was no sweat and labour involved) but I just finished and I'm really happy with the end result. I think I have a chance of making it to the regionals but don't want to get my hopes too high. My log book is the red one on the side of my board. Shais Resipy of Resilience

Yesterday I finished my reading project, (Shais Resipy of Resilience.) We had to make a recipe about who we are as a learner. Last week our teachers gave us a task that we had to complete and it was about us as a learner. Here's some images about my learning. Sorry if it's blurry, hope you enjoy😎

We Video

Today I finished a Wevideo that we started last week with Koka Maria. Me and 2 others just finished our WeVideo and are about to publish it. This is my first time making a WeVideo so it's not the best thing I've ever made but I tried and I'm happy with what I've done. It was hard because I made a Screen screencastify but we couldn't put our faces on our blog so we had to remember what we said and voice record the same thing so you can only hear you saying it  but can't see your face. Now, since I'm the first one done everyone's or at least 10 people have asked me how to embed into your blog. I hope you enjoy:)

Shais Reflection

This week our class made a google drawing about our learning and were we think we are in our learning. We got to pick out of Guided learner, Self Managing, Self Directed, or Independent. I chose Self directed which is the 3rd one because, well, you'll find out soon. And by soon I meen right now on my google drawing. I hope you enjoy!

Slow Write

This week, our class made a slow write. I didn't know what a slow write was at first but when someone
explains it it's really fun. It's just when your teacher or someone writes some instructions

and you follow them and write a story about it

Slow Writing Prompt

Sentence 1:  Start with the word ‘although’

Sentence 2:  Must have 3 adjectives in a list

Sentence 3:  This sentence must focus on the sense of smell/taste/touch or hearing

Sentence 4:  Must be 12 words long.

Sentence 5:  Must start with an adverb.

Sentence 6:  This sentence must contain a question mark

Sentence 7:  This sentence must have a list with 3 commas

Sentence 8:  This sentence must end with a sound word (onomatopoeia) and an

      exclamation mark.

Here's my slow write.

Although I was scared, I peek under my bed. And there, standing before me was the biggest, ugliest,

hairiest, spider I have ever seen. I feel the spider crawl onto my arm.

I stay as still as I can, the spider stops mid-path.

Gently, I pick the spider up and as soon as I did, I regretted it. Am I going to die? I think. The spider

spits green, gooey, acidic, acid all over my clothes. Aaaaagh!!!

All About Me

Yesterday we made a google drawing that told people about ourselves. On that google drawing we made a face on https://face.co/ that looked the most like us. Then, when we finished making our face we put it on a google drawing and added some things about ourselves. Here's the drawing.

Maths-Problem with Umbrellas,Cold Problems

Today we did a lot of maths wich was fun because maths is my favourite subject. It took me 2 days but in the end I finished and i'm happy with what I've done. Keywords - Smart Surfer

Koka Maria came in on wednesday and showed us how to use keywords on the search bar. She did that by giving us a google slide called Smart Surfers. We have 16 different sites on Smart Surfers but the one where i'm doing first is how to use keywords on the google search bar because that's number 1 out of 16. I'm not finished yet but I think I've done enough for the time we've been given.
